In obedience to the Lord’s greatest commands, our mission is to connect people to God and each other.

Nathan Gumbiner

Lead Pastor

Nathan is the lead pastor of Connect Church in Frisco, TX. Nathan, along with his wife Allyson, feel that God has called them to plant a church and be a part of what God is doing in Frisco. In 2007, while still in seminary, God placed a call on his life to plant a church. While unsure of what all that meant Nathan continued to follow God’s plan for his life.

Nathan graduated from God’s Bible School & College, in Cincinnati, OH, in 2010 with degrees in both Bible & Theology and Music. Nathan is now working on his Masters in Ministry from GBS as well. Nathan was a youth pastor in Cincinnati, OH for almost four years before joining the staff at EastLake Community Church, Moneta, VA in 2013. While at EastLake Nathan was the Church Planting Resident. There he met and married his wife Allyson, who just happened to be the Senior Pastor’s daughter, and developed long lasting relationships while being mentored as a church planter.

In 2019 Nathan and Allyson moved to Frisco where they both got jobs in order to develop relationships and meet new families while building a launch team. Just like everyone else their plans were affected in 2020 but God was not surprised. In 2021 they refocused their efforts to plant Connect Church in Frisco. One of their greatest desires is to see the Kingdom of God expand in Frisco and beyond.

Nathan and Allyson have a 1 year old son, Rhett David, and a baby girl, Sadie Brooke.

Trever Keaton

Discipleship Pastor

Trever Keaton graduated from high school, where he was a standout basketball star, in 2018 and attended Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg, VA. Growing up in a pastor’s house it wasn’t until the beginning of 2020 when God radically changed his life and it became evident to him that he was to move to Frisco and be a part of Connect Church.

Trever and his wife Autumn, his high school sweetheart,  were married in the summer of 2021.

Austin Line

Discipleship Pastor

In college, Austin sensed God place a passion in his heart for metropolitan church planting. In the fall of 2021, he and his wife Christy moved to Frisco to join the pastoral staff at Connect Church.

Austin and Christy met at Union Bible College in Westfield, Indiana and dated for 2 years before getting married in October 2016. In 2018, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in religion, majoring in pastoral ministry. Upon graduation, he pastored New Hope Church in Muncie, Indiana for 3 years.
God continued to lead toward His church planting vision, and he and Christy accepted the call to serve on the leadership team at Connect Church Frisco. They are passionate about the Christ ordained mission of the church: to proclaim the best news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Whose love transforms lives from the inside out, reconciling broken men and women to God.
In their spare time, Austin and Christy enjoy hiking through God’s beautiful creation and bonding with their dog, Arthur.

Jesse Keep

Worship Pastor

Jesse Keep is a pianist, vocalist, and worship leader.

Jesse is a 2021 graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville Tennessee with a BA in Commercial Music.

Jesse lost his vision just before his fourth birthday after battling eye cancer. Shortly after becoming blind, he fell in love with the piano and has worked diligently at developing his music throughout his life. He grew up a missionary kid in the Philippines, and was privileged to travel and perform with his family in churches scattered throughout that country. He has also performed across the US and in parts of Europe. His latest release, (Peace in Chaos) reflects on God’s never ending goodness, faithfulness, and mercy which is freely given to all who believe.

In addition to Jesse‘s worship and gospel background, he has also studied classical, pop, and jazz as a way to sharpen his skills and grow in his knowledge of music.

Jesse would like to give all glory to anything he has, or ever will accomplish to his Creator and Lord, Jesus Christ.

It is his greatest desire that his music uplifts and that through worship, hope and truth is communicated. Jesse believes when we worship with the body of Christ our focus is turned, from ourselves to Christ, and from our problems to the ultimate solution! Jesse desires for all to enter worship expectant, and ready to receive the grace that our loving father so freely gives.
